Sumith joined the company in 2017.
Sumith earned his Higher Diploma in Rooms Division, Emirates Hotel School, Dubai, UAE in 2010. He also completed level 3 in Bachelor of Law, Open University in Nawala, Sri Lanka.
Sumith began his career in 1990, Trainee Receptionist/Telephone Operator, then in 1992, promoted to Front Office Supervisor and in 1999, promoted to Front Office Executive, Bentota Beach Hotel, Sri Lanka; then in 2005, Front Office Manager, Cinnamon Island Alidhoo, Maldives; then in 2007, Front Office Manager, Velidhu Island Resort, Maldives; then in 2008, Front Office Manager, Bentota Beach Hotel, Sri Lanka; then in 2012, Assistant Manager Operations, Cinnamon Bay Beruwala, Sri Lanka; then in 2014, Resident Manager, Cinnamon Wild Yala, Sri Lanka, until he joined his current position as General Manager at Champa Central Hotel.
Sumith is married, makes his home in Kalutara, Sri Lanka, enjoys playing Cricket and badminton. Sumith’s native language is Sinhalese and he is fluent in English.
SALES & MARKETING MANAGER
Nadine joined in August 2017.
As the Sales and Marketing Manager, Nadine co-ordinate the activities of the Sales & Marketing Department to achieve the budgeted sales goals by following the current and long term Sales & Marketing Plan. She is responsible for communicating on a daily basis with the Hotel, International and Local Tour Operators through explaining and clarifying the Resorts’ policies and to assist them with any inquiries.
Nadine completed a Digital Marketing and PR internship in 2012 and then in 2014, earned her BComm. (Honours) in Marketing and Business Management, North West University Potchefstroom, South Africa.
She started her career with internships in the hospitality industry in South Africa. Then in 2012, she completed an internship with the Hyatt Regency in Oubaai, George, Cape Town and then in 2014, Sales & Marketing Executive for Faircity Hotels, Gauteng, South Africa. Then in 2017, joined the Crown & Champa Resorts, Maldives in her current position as Sales & Marketing Manager.
Nadine makes her home in Johannesburg, South Africa and enjoys socializing, watching TV series, exploring and being adventurous. She speaks fluent English and Afrikaans.
ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGER
Unais joined the company in 2014.
He obtained Diploma in Computer Application, KEONICS Computer Education Center, Mysore, India.
Unais began his work experience in The President’s Office, Male’ as an IT Support Assistant. Then in 2014, Sales & Marketing Assistant, Komandoo Island Resort & Spa; then in 2015, Sales & Marketing Supervisor, Meeru Island Resort & Spa and in 2017 joined Champa Central Hotel as Assistant Sales & Events Manager and was promoted as Assistant Operations Manager in 2018
Unais is single and makes his home in, Male’, and enjoys Photography, Videography, Graphics Designing and Traveling.
ASSISTANT F&B MANAGER
Aslam joined the company in 2002.
He graduated with a Diploma in Hospitality Management, in 2013, Maldives National University (FHTS), Maldives.
Aslam began his career in 2002 as Water Sports Trainee, Veligandu Island Resort & Spa; then in 2006, , Restaurant Waiter, then in 2008, Restaurant Supervisor, then in 2013, F&B Operation Manager, Veligandu Island Resort & Spa and then in 2016, promoted as Assistant F&B Manager, Champa Central Hotel.
Aslam is Married and makes his home in H.DH, Nolhivaranfaru’ Maldives, and enjoys Swimming.

Chamindra Rohan Jayalal
Chamindra joined the company in 2015.
He obtained certificate in the communication Level l from Sri Lanka certified by the University of Warwick Coventry, England, Passed Basic Level International cookery at School of the Catering & Hotel Management (SCHM) Colombo. Then in 1999, awarded the certificate at the successful conclusion of "Australian Beef & Lamb for Food Service & won a Bronze Medal in Culinary guild for the category of "Pate & Galantine"; then in 2001, Bronze medal holder in respect of the culinary Exhibition 2001 at the B.M.I.C.H. category of five course set menu (vegetarian) and then in 2011, silver medal in live cooking at Hotel Asia- Maldives.
Chamindra began his career in April 1991 as a Trainee in Hotel Suisse, Kandy, then as a Commies in Hotel Topaz, The Tourmaline in Jan 1993; then in 1996, Commies I in Hotel Kandalama, then in 1997, Demi Chef De Partie, Hotel Lanka Princess , then in 1998, Commies I, Hotel Inter-Continental, Sri Lanka; then in 1998, Demi Chef De Partie, Dubai Merian Beach Resort & Spa, UAE; then in 2000, Chef De Partie, Sidhdhalepa Ayurveda Health Resorts, then in 2003, Chef De Partie, Deshanee Restaurant, then in 2004, Demi Chef De Partie, Jaic Hilton, Sri Lanka; the in 2005, Chef De Partie, Movenpick Jeddah, KSA; then in 2006, Executive Chef, Hotel Kabalana, Sri Lanka; then in 2006, Sous Chef - Maalan Restaurant, Meeru Island Resort & Spa, Maldives, then in 2013, Executive Chef, UTMT Resort and joined Champa Central Hotel as an Executive Chef in 2015.
Chamindra is married with two kids and makes his home in Matara, Sri Lankan. He enjoys travelling and playing cricket.
Sanjaya Sidath Kumarathunga
Sanjaya joined the company in 2018.
Sanjaya began his work experience in 2010 as Audit Senior, KPMG-Maldives; then in 2011, Accountant in Male’ Aerated Water Company Private Limited, Maldives; then 2012, Accountant, Reefside Private Limited, Maldives; then 2014 Senior Accountant in Villa Air Private Limited; then 2015 Manager Accounts & Administration, Nawaloka Construction Company Private Limited and in 2018 he joined as Chief Accountant in Champa Central Hotel.
Sanjaya is married and makes his home in Sri Lanka, and enjoys playing Cricket and running.
Fazeel joined the company in 2010.
Fazeel graduated with a Diploma in International Hotel and Tourism Management, in 2008 and then in 2010, a Bachelor’s Degree in International Hotel and Tourism Management, KDU College, Malaysia.
Fazeel began his career in 2008 as Management Trainee, Bandos Island Resort & Spa; then in 2010, as Human Resources Administrator, Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa; then in 2015, promoted as Personnel Manager, Champa Central Hotel.
Fazeel is married, makes his home in Male’, and enjoys travelling, and reading.
Adam Abdul Azeez
F&B Operations Manager
Adam joined the company in 2012
Adam began his work experience in 1999 as Launch Coordinator, Kuredu Island Resort & Spa; then in 2001 as Receptionist in Central Hotel; Adam was promoted to Front Office Supervisor on 2002; on 2009 as a Accounts Assistant in Central Hotel; then on 2013 Adam was promoted as F&B Manager at Central Hotel; on 2013 as a Project Manager in Central Hotel; then on 2016 was promoted to F&B Operations Manager his current position.
Adam is Married and makes his home in Male’ Maldives, and enjoys playing football.
Shualhu Joined in 2015
Shualhu graduated with Masters in Tourism Administration from University of Mysor, India in 2013.
He began his career as a Reservations Supervisor at Veligandu Island Resort & Spa in 2003, then in 2006, Recreation Attendant, Four Seasons Resorts Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru; then in 2007 Sales & Marketing Supervisor, Herathera Island Resort & Spa. He Joined Champa Central Hotel, in 2015, in his current position.
He speaks fluent Hindi, English and basic French.
Shualhu is single and makes his home in Male’, Maldives. He enjoys listening to music.
