Recipe of the Month: Spicy Chicken and Seafood Nasi Goreng

Enjoy a taste of Asia with the Spicy Chicken and Seafood Nasi Goreng, an Indonesian classic that includes fried rice with chicken, beef, prawns, squid and vegetables, served with prawn crackers, peanut dressing and topped with fried egg. Nasi Goreng is available on our a la carte menu from the Roof Top Restaurant and our 9th Floor Ala Restaurant. This is how our chefs at Champa Central prepare this for you:



  • 200ml oil
  • 8 Whole eggs, slightly beaten
  • 50g Garlic, cloves, crushed
  • 25g Ginger, crushed
  • 100g Onions, roughly chopped
  • 100g Carrot, cut into small cubes
  • 100g Capsicums, cubed
  • 100g Green spring onions, cubed
  • ·200g Prawns and cuttlefish, diced and fried
  • 220g Chicken breast, diced and fried
  • 3kg Cooked & cool basmati rice
  • 60g seasoning powder
  • 100g nasi/curry paste
  • 100ml soy sauce
  • 5g Dry red chilies, diced
  • 100g Chili paste
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste



  1. Heat the oil in a wok and add beaten eggs and fry well.
  2. Then add onions, ginger and garlic, sauté for few minutes
  3. Add the fried meats then carrots, capsicums and stir fry for another few seconds
  4. Stir in the rice, soy sauce, homemade Nasi / curry paste, chili paste, chili pieces fry well
  5. Add spring onions and fry for another few minutes
  6. Adjust seasoning to taste
  7. Mold into individual dishes and garnish.
